Hugo Broos Ready to Give Orlando Pirates Star Another Chance at Bafana

Bafana Bafana head coach Hugo Broos has revealed that he is ready to give Orlando Pirates star Goodman Mosele another chance in the National team.

The Bucs skipper went AWOL from the Bafana camp that was set to face Ethiopia in the 2022 FIFA World cup qualifiers last week.

That upset the Belgian coach Broos who expressed his disappointments towards the player.

Broos has revealed that he has not heard anything from Mosele's side.

He also claimed that he would be opened to forgive the player and give him another chance if he (Mosele) can come forward and give an explanation first.

Speaking to Skepe Matsebane on PowerSportExtra Broos said that it is not up to him to make contact with the player.

"I think it’s up to him to contact me, he didn’t come to camp. He didn’t call us to say ‘look I didn’t come for this and this reason," said the Belgian coach.

He added that they tried to reach the player but he was unavailable and that is something you do not do when you are selected for the National team.

The coach concluded that he is open for everything, if the player does not want to play for Bafana it is his right, if he wants to play he will give him the chance to explain himself first.

Bafana will be back in action next month when they host Zimbabwe before visiting Ghana for the last encounter of the group stages in the world Cup qualifiers.
