Du Preez undecided between these two rivals. Here is why.

In form Stellenbosch FC striker Ashley Du Preez has increasingly been subject to a move to Soweto next season as Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates have both been reported to be lining up for the player's signature.

Rivals Mamelodi Sundowns have proven to be dominant in front of goal with Peter Shalulile who scored more than 20 goals this season, a department which Pirates and Amakhosi need to quickly catch up on. At Kaizer Chiefs, Du Preez will feature with top talents like Khama Billiat and Keagan Dolly and he is potentially the missing piece in Amakhosi's frontline.

Current strikers Leonardo Castro, Samir Nurkovic and Bernard Parker may possibly not be at the club next season and Kaizer Chiefs need to quickly find a replacement for the number 9 role.

At Orlando Pirates, Du Preez can benefit from the departure of Gabadinho Mhango who has been confirmed to be on his way out of the club at the end of the season. Du Preez look to jump the line ahead of Zakhele Lepasa who has had injury setbacks and Kwame Peprah who hasn't really lived up to the expectations.

His club Stellenbosch FC are reportedly willing to sell the player but it will be all about the tabled offer from the Soweto giants.
