Mamelodi Sundowns and Amazulu kept apart.

Mamelodi Sundowns will compete in the Prince Mangosuthu Legacy Cup once more this year in KwaZulu-Ulundi. Natal's The tournament will take place once more this year. 

At the launch of the 2022 edition, which took place on Wednesday, dignitaries and club representatives were in attendance, and as was to be expected, Prince Mangosuthu Buthelezi was also there. 


Sundowns were victorious in the inaugural competition of the Prince Mangosuthu Legacy Cup in 2018, which they won by defeating AmaZulu in the championship match. 

After being separated from one another in the semifinals, the two teams will be eager for the opportunity to compete against one another once more in the championship game of this year's competition. 


This year's competition is scheduled to begin on Sunday, July 23, and Usuthu is slated to face off against Zululand District XI in the first semi-final matchup at 9:00 in the morning. 

The semi-final match between Sundowns and Richards Bay FC, a team that was recently promoted to the PSL, is scheduled to begin at 11:00 a.m. local time. 


The match that will decide who takes home the Prince Mangosuthu Legacy Cup will take place on the same day; the championship match is scheduled to begin at 16:00.
