Kaizer Chiefs appear to be probably going to permit Leonardo Castro to continue on with his profession toward the finish of the 2021/22 season or will acquire close to half of his compensation assuming he stays.
CASTRO'S KAIZER CHIEFS CONTRACT IS ENDING
As recently detailed here by The South African, the 32-year-old Castro will see his agreement with Amakhosi lapse on 30 June.
With around two months left, it appears to be that Kaizer Chiefs are not by and large quick to offer another arrangement to the previous Mamelodi Sundowns striker.
However, why so?
The Colombian star has just overseen only six appearances this season because of injury and low structure.
EXPERTS SEES STRUGGLE
As indicated by a neighborhood football specialist, Castro has three significant issues: He has no specialist, is injury-inclined, and is matured 32.
The three factors will along these lines make it truly quite difficult for the player to get another Kaizer Chiefs contract.
"Whenever a player doesn't have a specialist it puts him in a difficult situation on issues like agreement arrangements," the spy said in Soccer Laduma's most recent issue.
"Most clubs appreciate it when a player goes into exchanges without a specialist since they realize that odds are they could save huge…
"In Leonardo Catsto's situation, who is supposedly on around a R4 million for each annum bundle, he could lose the greater part of that figure if his arrangement if he somehow happened to expand his arrangement with Kaizer Chiefs in view of his age.
"The kid is 32 and is injury-inclined and it is basically impossible that that the club would keep him on a similar bundle or increment this is a direct result of his absence of satisfactory commitment to the group in ongoing seasons," the specialist added.
