By mutual accord, Ricky Sbragia quits Manchester United
Brazilian superstar Casemiro has been officially announced as having signed for Manchester United for an unknown sum from Real Madrid of the Spanish La Liga. The midfielder from Real Madrid committed to the Red Devils for four years.
Casemiro has played for Real Madrid for the most of his football career, but this year he will take on a fresh challenge in the English Premier League.
In order to announce the acquisition of Casemiro from Real Madrid, Manchester United published an official statement on their website.
"Manchester United is pleased to announce that the team and Real Madrid have struck a transfer agreement for Casemiro. The move is contingent on meeting personal terms, UK immigration requirements, and medical standards, the club said.
"Casemiro has participated in more than 500 professional games, including 63 for his home Brazil at the international level. In his successful career, he has won 17 significant awards, including five Champions League championships and the Copa America.
"We are very excited to have Casemiro at Old Trafford."
