Why is Motsepe offering to pay Pitso Mosimane to coach Bafana ? OPINION

Patrice Motsepe is a flamboyant South African bussinessman probably one of the most richest people in Africa. However Motsepe is also the president African football government board CAF. He is very passionate about football and he is the proud owner of Mamelodi Sundowns football club. Motsepe is alleged to have offered to pay the salary of Pitso Mosimane so that he can coach the South African senior national soccer team Bafana Bafana.

However the big fascinating question is why would Motsepe offer to pay Pitso Mosimane's salaries to coach Bafana Bafana? considering that SAFA is the one that determines the direction of South African football they are responsible for hiring and firing coaches. Hugo Broos is currently coaching Bafana Bafana but most South Africans are not entirely happy with his perfomance as the national team has been struggling under him.

However in my humble opinion I think Motsepe can see that our national team is suffering and Pitso Mosimane can back the glory days of South African football. He also understands that Pitso Mosimane has archived so much success and probably his market value has also risen. SAFA might not have enough money to pay Pitso I think that is why Patrice Motsepe offered to help. We all know he is very passionate about football and would like to see our country succed.

I honestly think SAFA should take advantage of this situation and hire Pitso mosimane. He is highly decorated and is probably one of the most successful coaches in Africa. He understands the culture and the philosophy of South African football and I think he can save Bafana Bafana. However this is solely based on my opinion I know that people see things differently especially when it comes to football matters.
