Kaizer Chiefs are really in the business to win something this season. I mean bringing back Stuart Baxter that alone was a statement that they want to go far than they have been the last Six to Seven years. I mean as hungry as they may have been all this years, signing the likes of Keagan Dolly and Nange, they did let go for some of the good players like George Maluleke and Willard Katsande where many of the fans didn’t appreciate that, but this season if they don’t win anything, then let’s be honest, there’s no going back to talk about the history they have if they can’t even plan to go for the future. Though, Nange has told Chiefs that the team assembled under Baxter this season will win something.
” We want to start and make sure that we collect maximum points. If you want to be somewhere at the end of the season or win something we must make sure that we collect maximum points as much as we can. I am more than happy to be here because this is where I was wishing to be. What needs to happen is that we deliver and make sure we work harder to achieve whatever it is that we want to as a team and a player,” Nange told KickOff.com reporters.
The midfielder is expected to play a central role in their first game of the Dstv Premiership against TS Galaxy at Mbombela Stadium today.
” We don’t much about the players that they have brought but we are aware that they are not a bad side and we will go there and make sure that we apply ourselves and make sure that we are more prepared,” concluded Nange telling KickOff.com Sources.
I for one don’t they can go on to win the PSL title. I believe there’s still a lot of work to be done and as crazy I may sound, don’t have high hopes if you are Chiefs fan. Let me know what you think.
