Chiefs coach after 4-0 whipping by Sundowns: 'We were defeated in all departments “

Kaizer Chiefs mentor Arthur Zwane conceded a resurgent Mamelodi Sundowns side played them off the recreation area on Saturday.

Twilights returned from their midweek misfortune against TS Galaxy to smash Kaizer Chiefs 4-0 at Loftus Versfeld.

Zwane conceded that each group had an off-day that can and will be taken advantage of by better sides.

Kaizer Chiefs mentor Arthur Zwane said he had no reason for their 4-0 pounding because of a resurgent Mamelodi Sundowns at Loftus Versfeld on Saturday.

Zwane's side yielded two objectives in every half, with the initial two being protective mistakes, while the last two came from amazing counter-squeezing and counter-going after from Sundowns.

Bosses had their minutes, including a missed punishment by Khama Billiat, yet Zwane felt it wasn't their day and Sundowns defeated them.

"We would rather not concoct any reasons. We were defeated in all offices and we were not ourselves," Zwane said.

"We were a piece better in the last part, where we had a touch of hostile assault. Assuming Reeve had scored that one, it might have changed the game by and large.

"We were unable to underwrite and we got rebuffed. We likewise had the punishment that we missed and from that point, they made three or four great possibilities.

"We just played for 15 minutes in the last part, where we ruled a little, yet we lost it once more."

While Chiefs have gone through certain phases of trouble through their different mentors, they've up until this point abstained from being forced to bear beatings from Sundowns.

That has come round for them this season, with Zwane conceding that with them being in a formative stage, they would have been on the finish of stowing away eventually.

"These things happen to the best groups on the planet and we're attempting to get a few mixes while getting a few new players," Zwane said.

"Based on the manner in which we endeavored today, we actually have far to go and it was great that we were uncovered this way.

"It could be from the get-go in the season, yet it comes down to one thing for the players. We can get, improve and gain from this."
