Amazulu has announced the signing of seven new players, two of whom are former Kaizer Chiefs players

Amazulu has announced the signing of seven new players, two of whom are former Kaizer Chiefs players.

This afternoon, AmaZulu head coach Benni McCarthy unveiled their new signings, which include a player who was previously in the window with Kaizer Chiefs and another with whom Amakhosi opted to part ways.

Usuthu is presently preparing for the upcoming season, which will see the team compete in the league, CAF Champions League, MTN8 Cup, and Nedbank Cup for the first time.

Benni McCarthy will face his former team Cape Town City in the MTN8 quarter-finals on August 15th, and will be hoping to advance to the semi-finals in order to continue where he left off last season.

Mxolisi Kunene, Tercious Malepe, and former Kaizer Chiefs player Keagan Buchanan have all signed with Amazulu Football Club.

The Durban-based side has also named Philani Zulu as one of their players. After Amakhosi elected not to renew his contract, the former Kaizer Chiefs defender joins Amazulu as a free agent.

Tshepang Moremi and Lindani Shange, MDC Diski Challenge, and Matarr Ceesay, two young Gambian international players, were also introduced.
