It becomes very rare when any Sports Club gets a special message from a minister of Sport.
The letter titled " CAF CHAMPION'S LEAGUE FINAL: 17 JULY 2021". Reads " I wish to take this opportunity to congratulate Kaizer Chiefs FC on successfully qualifying for the above-mentioned final.
For a club to conquer the Continent in such a dramatic way, so early in their participation at this level make us proud to be South Africans.
Whilst we acknowledge that to get past the stiff competition particularly at semi-final level was itself a major achievement, we really offer our good wishes for the club to perform at it's best at the Champion's League Final.
Hopefully, the fact that the Club will be carrying the dreams and aspirations of all South Africans at the final, we serve as much-needed motivation for the Club to meet and exceed expectations.
Whatever the outcome, we will remain proud of the Club's achievements." ENDS
This is clearly a good gesture by the Minister of Sport, we salute you. Congratulations to Kaizer Chiefs once more.
