George Maluleke will form part of the rebuilding phase in the Kwa-Zulu Natal outfit with the aim of challenging the two Soweto giants & the triple record holder Mamelodi Sundowns.
The 33-year old central midfielder made only 4 appearances in the league last season(2021/22) & 1 appearance in the 2022 Nedbank Cup contributing 2 goals (2 assists) according to Soccerway.
This move is fair for both parties (Mamelodi Sundowns & George Maluleke) as the former has a lot of depth in that position with now the interest in Bafana Bafana international Bongani Zungu.
Do you think the Bafana Bafana international central midfielder made the right move at the near end of his illustraous career that saw him as one of the best box-to-box midfielders in South African football.
