After having had a bad day in the office when the lost two nil to the defending champions, former Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Junior Khanye have described one if Amakhosi's defenders as more of dancer and less of a soccer player.
Khanye who is always vocal about Amakhosi said he is sure that we all know what Eric Mulomowandau Mathoho's real talent is after he was made to dance by Mamelodi Sundowns' attacker Thabiso Kutumela when he came on in the second half.
According to Khanye, Mathoho's talent was revealed on Sunday and all credit goes to the former Orlando Pirates striker who made him dance even though there was no music he was dancing to, he just dance whenever Kutumela had the ball on his feet.
"Nkululeko My brother Eric Mathoho is a dancer not a soccer player, I hope we all saw the way he dance, thanks to Kutumela atleast now we know his true colour," he said.
Mathoho has always had problems when it comes to dealing with one on one situations, he is a bit slow on the turn, quick players like Kermit Erasmus always made Tower dance even when he was still at Pirates, he would leave the former Bafana Bafana defender begging for mercy while he is already celebrating his goal on the corner flag.
The defensive pairing of Mathoho and Daniel Cardoso has always been suspect, they were leaking goals left right and centre last season, they conceded a total of 34 goals throughout the season, they were poor in defense.
The Phefeni Glamour Boys have since signed two central defenders, Austine Dube and Njabulo Ngcobo from Swallows FC hoping that they will strengthen the defense, but they are yet to use them since Ngcobo Is yet to play in the famous Gold and Black jersey surely when he is presenter a chance, he will make sure he is never dropped from the starting line-up.
