Former Orlando Pirates star player is set Join Soweto rivals.
The 29 year player has been without a club since last season.
Tshepo Gumede has been invited for trials with the newly promoted Soweto based team, Swallows FC.
He has has been without a team since he left Amazulu last season.
If he does well on trials he could join the club and that will make him the second Pirates player to join the Dube Birds, after the team has recently announced signing of Musa Nyatama.
According to KickOff magazine, the player is set to start the trials on Thursday.
A close source to the club has revealed that they have few players which will arrive tomorrow for an assessment and Gumede is one of them.
He is a local boy and the team would like to sign him depending on his performance at training, the source said.
The team has also offered Aubrey Ngoma of Mamelodi Sundowns a contract. Ngoma is currently waiting for the Brazilians to release him.
