Kaizer Chiefs' long serving goalkeeper Itumeleng Khune could be heading for the exit door at Naturena as it has been finally revealed that an unammed club from Qatar has shown interest in the veteran goalkeeper.
The 33-year-old is currently having a nightmare season at the club that gave him a chance to create a household name for himself at the age of 17.
The Bafana Bafana international goalkeeper struggled to be one of Ernst Middendorp's trusted disciples at goal last season but the introduction of Gavin Hunt to Naturena has changed that predicament for the veteran goalkeeper.
However things aren't going his way so far this season. Mzansi's number one goalkeeper has conceded 13 of Amakhosi's 20 goals in the Dstv Premiership this season and to make matters worse he conceded four goals in the CAF Champions League match against Wydad AC.
According to trusted sources an unnamed club from Qatar has shown interest in the services of the vertean goalkeeper despite his dismal stats this season. This could be a very lucrative move for the Bafana Bafana goalkeeper and it will also be a chance to revive his career abroad.
