Coaching a team like Al Ahly is no small feat and no one knows that better than our most successful export coach Pitso Jingles Mosimane.
The team has many supporters and former players who are world class stars. The supporters and former players are not shy to express themselves, even calling for changes in the club if they are not satisfied.
Following a shocking defeat by Waydad Casablanca during the CAF Championship Final, the supporters and former players have been calling for Pitso to be shown the door.
The president of the club El-Khatib has expressed faith in the South African superstar coach. During a press conference on Saturday, the president urged supporters to stand behind the team and the coaching staff.
Those words meant that coach Pitso Mosimane will live to fight another day. The job at Al Ahly is great opportunity but it is not without its own challenges.
