Benedict Saul McCarthy is a retired South African soccer player, who is now working as a coach. The 44-year old has already managed two football clubs in his coaching career.
Even though his full names are Benedict Saul McCarthy, however, people prefers calling him Benni McCarthy.
The Cape town born star retired almost ten years ago. Benni McCarthy decided to retire after leaving the Buccaneers back in 2013.
He joined Orlando Pirates Football Club as a free-agent after leaving the English Premier League side, West ham united more than a year ago.
Benni McCarthy has just been fired by the Durban based side, Amazulu Football Club. Those news came as a shock to the supporters because McCarthy was doing a fantastic job at Usuthu.
The poor form run might have been his downfall, but the fans were convinced that the 44-year old might still turn things around.
