Swallows accuses Chiefs of gamesmanship

Following a 3-1 derby setback in a DStv Premiership match on Saturday, Swallows FC's head coach accused Kaizer Chiefs of gamesmanship in an attempt to break his side's momentum.

The loss has dropped the Dube Birds to the bottom of the league standings.

Stuart Baxter's side moved up to second position with a crucial win thanks to a Khama Billiat brace after a Keagan Dolly opening.

"With the modifications we tried to make, we went attacking," Truter stated after the game."The Chiefs' players' unsportsmanlike behavior just killed the momentum, but it was their maturity and game management that did it.

"I can't say I blame them, but it stifled our momentum.

"But that's where we're at with our game right now, with lost opportunities and our opponents scoring on all three opportunities."

On Saturday, the Swallows host Maritzburg United in a DStv Premiership match at Dobsonville Stadium.

Kick-off is at 15:30.
