Pirates fans wants the club to sign this ex- Chiefs and Sundowns star

Orlando Pirates Football Club problems in defence the last six to seven seasons are well documented, as ever since the club trio of Lucky Lekgwathi, Rooi Mahamutsa, and Siyabonga Sangweni left the club there has never been any player to sit alongside Happy Jele in defence and solidify the Buccaneers defence.

The club has tried the likes of Robyn Johannes, Thulani Hlatswayo, Innocent Maela, Ntsikelelo Nyauza, and Kwanda Mngonyama among others at the heart of the defence alongside Happy Jele, but none of them has done enough to impress the fans and Pirates faithful that he belongs at the club.

Jele is currently being partnered with Nigerian Male Senior international, Olisha Ndah who so far proved to be worthy of the position but fans have been worried as when one of them gets injured their defence suffers, as there is no player among Nyauza, Hlatswayo, and Maela has proved himself to be worthy of the position.

The club fans have always asked for the club to look outside and bring players who can help in that position, and they believe to have found the suitable player who can help Pirates in their quest to solidify their defence.

Former Mpumalanga Black Aces Football Club, Mamelodi Sundowns Football Club, Rostov Football Club, Kaizer Chiefs Football Club, and Maritzburg United Football Club central defender, Siyanda Xulu has been released by his Israel Club Hapoel Tel Aviv Football Club after having a fallout with the coach.

The 30-year-old is currently in the country and clueless and Pirates fans should sign him, as he will solve all the defensive problems the club has at the moment.

I think he will be a major signing for the club, and they could use someone of his calibre to add experience, depth, and quality to the club.

He may not be able to play for Pirates this season as he can't be registered mid-season but signing him now will sure their intentions going forward, and will also be getting rid of competition for his signature.
