The DSTV Premiership action continued on Wednesday with three games on the menu.

AmaZulu and Kaizer Chiefs kicked off the proceedings at the Kings Park Stadium in Durban.

It was Amakhosi that got on the scoresheet early on when Samir Nurkovic, who was making his first start, capitalised on a mistake from the Usuthu defence.

The win, which was only the second of the season for Chiefs, propelled them to 10th place with 10 points from their 10 games.

In Pretoria, SuperSport United moved to second position after beating Bloemfontein Celtic 2 - 1 at the Lucas Masterpieces Moripe Stadium in Atteridgeville.

Matsatsantsa drew first blood with a goal from the on form Thamsanqa Gabuza but the visitors quickly got back to the game with an equalizer from Victor Letsoalo from the penalty spot.

Bradley Grobler managed to break the record and become the all time leading goalscorer for SuperSport when he netted his 10th of the season to give the home side all three points.

Pirates travelled to Venda and came back with three points from their goals scored in a 3 - 0 win over Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila. Deon Hotto, Gabadhino Mhango and Fortune Makaringe were all on the scoresheet to hand The Buccaneers all three points.
