Pirates Win x Chiefs Humiliation x Sundowns Dominance Continues

DSTV Premier League weekend round up the big three were in action this weekend and all three games were packed with goals as there 12 goals in the three games.

Orlando Pirates 3-1 Chippa United

Orlando Pirates came into this game coming back from a 1-0 win against Moroka Swallows last weekend and they kept the momentum going by clinching a 3-1 win over Gavin Hunt's Chippa United who were hoping to upset the Bucs but Orlando Pirates had other ideas.

Phakamani Mahlambi scored the opening goal of the match and Tsegofatso Mabasa scored his second goal of the season to make it 1-1 and Abel Mabaso and Goodman Mosele finished off the game.

Kaizer Chiefs 1-4 Royal AM

The upset of the weekend came later on Saturday as Royal AM humiliated Kaizer Chiefs by winning 4-1. A Victor Letsoalo brace was enough for the Durban side to get a comfortable win against Stuart Baxter's Kaizer Chiefs.

Going into the weekend Kaizer Chiefs were coming from a 2-0 loss against Mamelodi Sundowns last and they lost again Stuart Baxter might be in trouble because he has only won once in 4 games and that won't sit well with Kaizer Chiefs's management.

Mamelodi Sundowns 3-0 TS Galaxy

Mamelodi Sundowns continue their good start in the season as they scored three goals without reply in the second half against Owen Da Gama's TS Galaxy, at this rate Sundown's league dominance will continue.

Mosa Lebusa opened the scoring and Peter Shalulile got the second goal. Shalulile seems to have taken last season form into this season he is scoring for fun at the moment and with such form he is going to lead Sundowns to another league title.

Thabiso Kutumela rounded of the scoring as he scored his first goal for Mamelodi Sundowns to make it 3-0.
