Former Kaizer chiefs and Bloemfontein celtic midfielder Kabelo Mahlasela has seen his football career hitting the stumbling block since he joined Kaizer chiefs. However, he has not given up yet on his dream as he looks to revive it.
After joining Kaizer chiefs in January 2018, a lot was expected from the Sebokong born star. However, he was injured by his former teammate Willard Katsande in training the following day after being announced by the Glamour Boys.
The 29-year old spent almost six months on the sideline after being injured. When he was fully fit to play, he did find it hard to adapt at the club. In 2020, the club decided to send the player on loan at Polokwane city, he then got more minutes at the Polokwane side.
At the end of the 2019/20 season, the player saw his contract not renewed at Kaizer chiefs. He was given another chance by Andile Mpisane at his club that he recently purchased at the beginning of the 2020/21 season.
Mahlasela is now playing for the Glad Africa Championship side Royal AM.
