Following a string of unfavourable results from the Amakhosi side since the PSL 2022&23 season began, a lot of Kaizer Chiefs fans have begun having doubts as to whether coach Arthur Zwane and Dillon Shepard are the right people for the Job.
During the post interview match against Mamelodi Sundowns, a lot of fans were conflicted but following Arthur Zwane's touching words; a little hope was implanted in the hearts of millions of Kaizer Chiefs fans across the country
"It is not the start to the season that we have hoped for. We thought that we would be in a better position, but things dont always go as planned. I know how they (supporters) feel now, but one day they'd smile. We are going to make sure that we become a big force again even if it kills us" said the South African tactician.
Unlike many coaches that have stood in the dugout of Amakhosi week in and week out, Arthur Zwane is a special case because even rival fans want him to succeed. His success will pave way from many South African coaches who are still struggling for a breakthrough. If he fails at the Naturena then big teams will continue looking towards European coaches for success instead of homegrown talent.
