Chiefs Newly Signed Duo Form Alliance

Kaizer Chiefs have made over 10 signings over the last transfer and it is never going to be easy for the coach to impress everyone. Many of the new additions have walked straight into the starting lineup, however others are yet to get their time on the field and this has led to some frustrations. Stuart Baxter has been trying to balance it out with the player who were already at the club.

Fans have been calling for Stuart Baxter to play this duo in place of Eric Mathoho and Daniel Cardoso, however he has never been one to pay attention to public opinion. The club also let go ofs number of play to try and trim the squad, however egos are always going to be bruised based on who gets the most game time and it is always about waiting for an opportunity.

Njabulo Ngcobo and Austin Dube have hit off in recent months since they both joined Kaizer Chiefs. The players who come from Moroka Swallows and Richards Bay respectively have formed their own little alliance and friendships and have been spending most of the time together. They have also had the honor of playing for the national team and they are currently in Harare together.

Bafana coach Hugo Broos has expressed his frustration over the lack of game time for Njabulo Ngcobo, on the other hand Austin Dube was used as a substitute in the match against Baroka. They are definitely the future of South African football and it is amazing to see their friendship which can only be beneficial. It is not easy to break out in a team like Chiefs, however there's no question when it comes to their abilities.

Njabulo Ngcobo and Austin Dube will both have the opportunity to raise their hands up to Stuart Baxter during the world cup qualifiers. The duo will be facing off against Zimbabwe and Ghana, however their lack of game time will be a problem for the national team coach. It is important for talent like this to be nurtured and South African teams have the tendency of mishandling quality players.
