As we all know our club has been doing some serious business in the winter transfer window. Every passing day we get new information about why Arthur Zwane was appointed as the new head coach of our club.
I like the values that he is bringing to our club, two days ago when we were interviewing on the SA FM he shed some light, on taking advantage of our youth academy.
There's a special player that was competing in the final of the Nedbank Cup, he goes by the name of Thato Khiba, he is very versatile and talented our newly appointed coach Arthur Zwane said he coached the boy a few years ago.
He is doing very well under Dance Dan Malesela, the good news is that we are no longer a feeder club, we produced some of the finest players in the past few years but we were quick to sell them on a cheap because back then the majority of our coaches wanted only proven players.
With Arthur Zwane you get the vibe that, if you are a young player and you are producing some very top-class performances you will be given a chance.
Yes, he is going to buy players in the window, but also our academy is going to play a huge role as well in the first team.
Our new sporting director is the man who relived Stuart Baxter from his coaching duties and gave Arthur Zwane a chance, and they're willing to back him. The club is ready to compete at the highest level and if there's a player who is going to improve our squad going forward we are going to pay the money.
