Former Pirates Star Finds A New Home After Two Years Without A Club

A former Orlando Pirates player has returned to professional football, after spending the past two years struggling to find a club.

Rojer Majafa last played for TS Sporting in the GladAfrica Championship in 2019. He has now official joined another First Division team Venda Football Academy, after impressing in a brief assessment, the club has confirmed.

The 31-year-old has also played for teams like Platinum Stars, Polokwane City, Mpumalanga Black Aces and Roses United. He will be hoping to hit the ground running, considering he has not played professional football for a long time.

''We are very happy to have Majafa he just signed for us. He is one of the most gifted players in the country. He has a lot of quality and has shown commitment in training, since he started with us, a source told The Citezen.

Majafa went to Turkey last year for trials, but things did not go according to plan. According to the source, he looks like he is in good shape. Which is impressive for someone who has not played professional football for over two years.
