Pitso Mosimane is without a doubt the best South African born and bred coach of all time. His accolades speak for him as he is quite successful in the country and the continent as a whole. He came a long with Mamelodi Sundowns as he went on to being attacked by fans to turning the club into a powerhouse claiming dominance over the PSL. He has since repeated this in Egypt with Al Ahly putting a lot of his critics to bed.
Things have changed at Mamelodi Sundowns since his departure as we saw players who were regular fall down the pecking order under the new technical team. Players like Hlompho Kekana and Ricardo Nascimento have been replaced by the younger and much more hungry players. This has led to a change in personnel which marks an end of an era.
A Twitter user shared a clip from a friendly between Mamelodi Sundowns played against Tuks on Friday afternoon. Sibusiso Vilakazi can be seen turning it up on the video much to the amusemt of his former coach Pitso Mosimane. They spent a little under a decade together at Mamelodi Sundowns and it is safe to say that Jingles knew how to utilize him to his best advantage and bring out the best of him.
Another problem for Vilakazi has been injuries as he spent a good amount of time in the doctor's room. This has forced the club to identify his replacements which makes it even harder to return to the starting line up. This has however been the beauty of life at Chloorkop as the entire crowd is full of quality and capable players who can do the job on any given day.
Pitso Mosimane simply shared that 'class is permanent' as he marveled at the clip of his former player. They had an amazing relationship and won plenty of trophies together at Mamelodi Sundowns. Sibusiso Vilakazi is undoubtedly talent and probably one of the best onahsr we've seen over the last decade in the PSL.
