Domingo is ready to take shape ahead of the Tshwane Derby.
Despite his young age, Domingo, 26, is quickly establishing himself as a key member of the new-look Sundowns squad, putting in regular performances alongside players such as Andile Jali and Themba Zwane in midfield.
He was praised despite his team losing the 0-0 stalemate against Cape Town City despite being always ready to receive a pass and demonstrating a flair for breaking down defensive lines with his clean passing.
In terms of fitness, "I simply want to continue where I left off," he stated before of the game. "I can build on that, and I definitely have confidence heading into the next [game]."
"Getting a result against Cape Town City is crucial, but we also need to grab three points against SuperSport."
In spite of the fact that Matsatsansa are currently in fourth position in the league standings, eight points behind the league leaders – who have yet to surrender a goal in their first ten games – Domingo insists that his team is aware of the threat they represent.
As far as long-ball and playing on the second ball are concerned, I'm anticipating a direct performance from the team. We must maintain our focus, pick up the second ball, and develop play from there."
'I believe that [Teboho] Mokoena and [Sipho] Mbule, the creative players, as well as [Thamsanqa] Gabuza and [Bradley] Grobler, with their aerial presence forward, will be crucial for them," says the coach.
In the meanwhile, we're taking things one day at a time. We've studied SuperSport and understand what they're planning to bring to the table, and we're working on finding answers.
