Blitzboks player captured by Police - see why

Springbok rugby player Elton Jantjies has been captured.

The Bok flyhalf was captured at OR Tambo International Airport on Sunday morning.

Police representative, Colonel Athlenda Mathe, would just agree that that "a 31-year-elderly person has been captured at the OR Tambo International Airport (ORTIA) for noxious harm to property".

"The man was captured upon landing in ORTIA today at 08:50. The suspect was on a worldwide departure from Dubai to SA when he supposedly harmed property having a place with the carrier," she said.

It is perceived that Jantjies had been voyaging business class from Dubai to Johannesburg at the hour of his capture. He was captured and accompanied off the plane when they arrived in Johannesburg.

It shows up from Jantjies' web-based entertainment feed that he and his family had made a trip to Dubai last week Sunday.

Air terminals Company South Africa (ACSA) alluded all inquiries to the police.

When drawn nearer for input by News24, SA Rugby president Mark Alexander said he didn't know about the occurrence.
