It is believed that Benni McCarthy could lose two important players in his team at the end of the current season.
Both Sithebe and Bongi Ntuli were part of the sale agreement between Sandile Zungu and the former owners which are the Sokhela family, who took the country by surprise when they sold Amazulu ownership to Mr Zungu last year.
It means the two players will subsidise the fee paid to the Sokhela Family, a deal that was supposed to be paid in the last two transfer windows.
the R3-million combined value for this two player for was the stumbling block and the personal terms.
It is believed that the new owners are under pressure to sell the due before their contracts expire the end of the current season.
In agreeing to buy the team, it is believed the Sokhela family expected Sithebe and Ntuli to be sold for a fee to make up the sum of the purchase amount for the club.
Both Sithebe and Ntuli are contract are running out at the end of this season , for now Usuthu do have an option to extend their deals by a another year, which will give them time to still honour the agreement with the former owners.
While Ntuli has been on the radar of Soweto Giants Orlando Pirates, with Sithebe was also wanted by Kaizer chiefs and SuperSport United.
It could mean both players can be sold in the next transfer window, which opens on the first ofJuly.
Sithebe is a key player for AmaZulu for the last 2 seasons with Ntuli has been the source of important goals.
It remains a mystery if AmaZulu will sell the players at the end of this season or exercise their option to another year to buy them time to negotiate better deals for both players.
