Kaizer Chiefs missed out on Sipho Mbule & Thabo Cele now they have a new top class transfer target?

Although during the previous transfer window Kaizer Chiefs made a few big signings, for the supporters and the overall future success of the club a few is not good enough

It has now been a total of six seasons since Kaizer Chiefs have not won a single trophy and that could be down to a number of factors going on at the club

And one of those factors is having all the resources to accommodate top players and having all the resources to buy top players but still making all the wrong decisions in the transfer market

And that is a mistake that is repeated by a lot of top clubs all around the world having a lot of money but signing all the wrong players with that money that don't deserve to play for the club

But most recently Kaizer Chiefs starting from the 2019/20 season gradually started bringing in some quality players to name a few Kearyn Baccus, Samir Nurkovic who nearly won the league title with the club on the final day of that particular season

And unfortunately enough ever since then the club were temporarily prevented from signing players after a transfer ban in February 2020 which meant for a year and two transfer windows they could not pick up where they left off

Since returning to the transfer market the Glamour Boys returned with an absolute bang as they wrapped up the top signings of former Mamelodi Sundowns star Keagan Dolly & Moroka Swallows top defensive star Njabulo Ngcobo

The Glamour Boys also attempted as well to try and sign Sipho Mbule from SuperSport United but failed miserably & they also attempted to sign Thabo Cele as well but he is now going to Europe

Thankfully for Kaizer Chiefs it has emerged that they are interested in Sekhukhune United midfielder Yusuf Maart with the player himsef thought to be keen on signing for the club as well if sources close to the situation are true and accurate

"Someone told him about Chiefs looking to sign him some time last season, but he really didn't believe it. He started to believe a couple of weeks ago after another person from the club asked if he would be happy to join Chiefs,"

"So, yes, there is a big possibility he will be leaving the club. But he still has a contract, I believe until 2023, so, we'll see how things unfold,"
