Kaizer Chiefs has signed several good players to try and strengthen their squad and the club recently stated that they are not done signing players and they are still going to sign more before the transfer window closes.

The glamour boys hasn’t won a trophy in more than 6 years and the fans have grown impatient so the club had to sign quality players to make sure that Amakhosi challenge for trophies next season. Last season the team was not playing well and it was beaten by small teams including rookies, Royal AM. The trophy drought didn’t end no matter who they appointed as the head coach and no matter how many players they signed, they still didn’t win any trophy.

The addition of good players who are hungry for success might change all that. If the club manages to sign Percy Tau who Al-Ahly is reportedly looking to offload, then there will be a reason to believe that maybe next season the glamour boys will finally win a trophy. They might not win the league with him still but they can do better than they did last season and finish higher in the league.
