After a stunning performance that the KZN based outfit displayed when they played against Kaizer Chiefs at FNB Stadium as they easily defeated the Soweto giants by 4-1 there were questions raised about the status of the team and the club owners, and the South African football universe also wondered if is there finally peace at Royal AM? This is a solid question to ask because, there were rumors that players were not paid of their salaries due to administrative challenges that were faced by the club. The current formation of Royal AM that we are seeing was actually infused with the Bloemfontein Celtic players after club owner Shaun Mkhize purchased the status of Celtic.
Recent reports that have been updated about the situation at Royal AM is that there is finally peace at this team between the club owners and the players. It can never be a good thing for a team to have internal challenges especially when they are related with issues of payments, when players are not happy it's an obvious indication that the team will not yield results and the performance in the field of play will just be terrible.
For the fact that Shaun Mkhize and her players have mended their ways this is a very good move that will inspire the team to even perform much better and more excellent, and the results that we saw when this team played against Kaizer Chiefs are most likely going to be the beginning of much greater things to come, and the South African football universe will be shocked by the high level of performance that could be produced by the KZN outfit.
When Royal AM started in the DStv Premiership they lost two of their opening games as they lost 1-0 against Swallows FC, and then 2-1 by Cape Town City and these two losses might have been caused by the internal challenges that existed at the club. Mam Mkhize's Royal AM turned things around when they faced off against Chippa United as they won 1-0 at home, and then until recently with their famous 4-1 victory over Kaizer Chiefs and they next scheduled match is against TS Galaxy we shall see if they will continue with their winning streak or they will be beaten by Owen Da Gama's side.
