Kaizer Chiefs Handed A Massive Boost Amid EFF Picketing Protests At The Arts And Culture

Football has never been the same since the Covid-19 pandemic hit the world, the sporting events are no longer fascinating as they used to be, the new normal is not good to a lot of people around the world, most people find sports as therapeutic since they can go to stadiums and fill up stadiums with strangers and even engage in chants chanting for their teams to win. Some of the Countries have opened up stadiums and started welcoming football fans back to the stadiums and revive the football spirits that everyone enjoys and love, but the same cannot be said in South Africa where the Government still has restrictions when it comes to the attendance of football matches in stadiums ever since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic, however that may come to an end soon with the EFF engaging in Picketing towards the department of Arts And Culture to lay down their complaints since political gatherings can be held at stadiums meaning that also football matches can then be watched live at the stadiums by the fans.

The EFF President Julius Malema stated that the closure of Stadiums does not only affect the teams since the teams need the fans to push them whilst they are down, he further stated that the small businesses that depends on fans being at the stadiums for them to sell their products and meet ends meets so that they may also be able to feed their families, he further stated that such would then benefit those who are unemployed to earn some little money by selling stuff by the stadiums instead of being dependent on the R350 Sassa grant from the Government.

One of the team that may benefit from the future of fans to the stadiums is Kaizer Chiefs whose recent performance is nothing but shame that brings huge amount of dissatisfaction to its football fan base, the Glamour boys scrambled to the top 9 last season which they then lost at the first round, the glamour boys are still doing good with Mamelodi Sundowns opening a huge gap between the two clubs, according to the Ts Galaxy coach the biggest weakness that Kaizer Chiefs lack is the absence of fans at the stadiums,”TS Galaxy head coach Sead Ramovic has revealed that playing without fans in the stands seems to be the only weakness of Nedbank Cup round of 32 opponents, Kaizer Chiefs”.

With the sudden picketing from the EFF some of the organizations have seen the light and believes that stadiums needs to be reopened to being back the life in football matches, SAFPU also announced that they will join hands with the EFF when they engage in pocketing, much delight to Kaizer Chiefs and other PSL clubs that needs their fans to come back and give them strength to conquer all and win games and silverware.
