Once a young and upcoming youngester talent has voiced out his dissapointment at Kaizer Chiefs claiming he never got a fair shot to prove his worth at the club.
This comes after the young starlet was shown the door, he pours his heart out after the technical team met and decided against retaining him.
The youngester was in books of Swallows FC last season, Kaizer Chiefs recalled him after his loan stint came to an end. Young Itumeleng was expecting to impress coach Stuart Baxter but it was never going to be the case.
Why was he let go?
Stuart Baxter is a coach who doesn't really believes much in youngsters, he likes them matured and that can be noticed at his recent signings.
Shopane a youth product.
When your teammates from the development team make it into the senior team, it is within your wishes to follow suit. Itumeleng Shopane had a dream of wearing the gold and black in senior team colours.
Having ply his trade in the junior ranks, understanding the culture of the club and the history, Shopane does have a bright future ahead of him.

Itumeleng Shopane played a huge role in Kaizer Chiefs diski team, he has impressed a lot of people and coaches speaks highly of him. He has also played for South African junior teams.
His heroics in the Kaizer Chiefs diski team did not make a smooth sailing into the first team as he struggled to brake through.
He is now currently a free agent after the club decided against using him.
We wish him nothing but the best of luck in his search of a new team.
