Opinion: Mamelodi Sundowns to try and avoid history

Mamelodi Sundowns may be the best South African team and they may have won every silver on offer in the psl but the Brazilians have forever been missing the MTN8 trophy in their cabin, the Brazilians have never won the MTN8 trophy since it was established in 2008.

History has a way of repeating itself and Mamelodi Sundowns have a bad history in the MTN8 and they must do everything in their power to ensure history does not repeat itself, Downs will come up against a farce CTC who brushed aside Swallows with 4 goals in their second leg quarter finals clash.

It will be a game of both halves as Sundowns and CTC play similar football with both teams very good at counter pressing and moving the ball around very quickly, Mamelodi Sundowns have a very talented squad and with Peter Shalulile on a goal scoring rampage CTC will have to be on high alert in defense and the Namibian can come knocking at any time.

Sundowns have no luck when it comes to the MTN8 and hopefully lady luck will be on the side or else they will continue being eluded by the MTN8 trophy for yet another year, There is no room to make any mistakes for Mamelodi Sundowns as this will be a clash that will see Cape Town City really push the best team to breaking point.

Cape Town City are a totally different team under Tinkler and they may stun the defending Dstv premiership champions, do drop a comment on what you think of Mamelodi Sundowns and Cape Town City and who do you think stands the chance of winning that trophy and b sure to click on the like button, if you have not yet subscribed to this channel then be sure to click on the follow link so that you don't miss out on what's going on around you.
