PERCY TAU BECOMES A FREE AGENT, breaking news!
CHIEFS WELCOME R6 MILLION INTERNATIONAL TO NATURENAAamakhosi have been looking for a good left-footed defender for a while.
Before the 2022–23 DStv Premiership season begins, Arthur Zwane made it plain that this is one of the positions he needs to strengthen.
According to SoccerLaduma, Edmilson Dove is now practicing with Chiefs in a formal capacity.
He hasn't yet signed a contract, though. He is being followed intently by everyone as he is currently on trial with Amakhosi by Zwane, Dillon Sheppard, Kaizer, and Bobby Motaung in an effort to strengthen their team's depth. If Dove's trials go as planned, he might sign with Amakhosi as their tenth player.
He led the African team throughout the COSAFA Cup, making him one of Mozambique's standout performances.
For a while now, Amakhosi has been hoping to acquire Dove. Several seasons ago, Chiefs were interested in signing the outstanding left-back, but he was preoccupied with Cape Town City.
This was prior to him being out for a few months due to a significant knee injury. The Citizens released him back in February of this year. He is now undergoing training at Naturena and is working hard to secure a contract with Amakhosi.
