While the Gunners continued to attack deeper into the second half, in the 68th minute Nicolas Pepe stepped and did his usual thing—individual brilliance. A beautifully curled effort gave the Gunners a 1-0 lead.
Brighton fort back,and in the 75th minute Lewis Dunk equalized making the score 1-1,the home side looked happy with a draw,but on the 95th minute Neal Maupay scored the winner for the home side. Maupay surged away from Holding and lobbed the ball calmly over Martinez making it 2-1 the final score
