The 2021/2022 Dstv Premiership is currently on an extended Christmas break due to the ongoing 2021 African Cup of Nations(AFCON) which is currently taking place in Cameroon, because of Covid 19 which stood in the way of the tournament taking place last year and was postponed to this year. While some stars like Kaizer Chiefs Football Club's Daniel Akpeyi and Orlando Pirates Football Club's Olisha Ndah are currently in Cameroon representing their countries, clubs like Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns Football Club have returned to training with players they have in their arsenals.

The Phefeni Glamour boys took part in a training session earlier today with some of their stars like Itumeleng Khune, Akpeyi, and Sfiso Hlanti, who are out due to injuries, national team commitments, and Dstv Compact Cup commitments as well.
The club took to their respective social media handles to share images of players hard in training preparing for the second half of the season.
