Throwback pictures of Reneilwe Letsholonyane

Before they started racking in large sums of money through salaries and endorsement deals most PSL stars were akward teenagers just like most of us when we were growing up.

Back then these well known professionals did not have that look that made them stand out.

In the PSL era fashion taste in the football world has became important as much as performances on the field of play throughout the whole 90 minutes. Currently in the football industry retired footballer Reneilwe Letsholonyane off the field of play when he is not shouting instructions on the touchlines is largely known for his "big brother" look, which makes him stand out.

The former footballer turned head coach and shareholder at Pimville Young Stars before the fame was just a normal teenager with a normal look. On Thursday the former Kazier Chiefs star midfielder took to his Instagram account to share a throwback picture of his during his high schooling days. Following his decision to do so most of his fans and followers on the popular platform were left in stitches.

In the shared picture on Instagram the Soweto born footballer was spotted wearing a black v-neck jersey with two green stripes from Kelokitso Comprehensive High School in Meadowlands Zone 9. A few years ago Reneilwe Letsholonyane's known younger brother Tshidiso Reuben Letsholonyane who happens to be the U15 coach at Kaizer Chiefs took to his Facebook account to share a throwback picture of "Yeye" during his time at now defunct Hellenic FC in 2003.

From the shared picture the former Kaizer Chiefs midfielder was in the company of his friends and family holding a Castle Premiership man of the match award cheque worth R300. With that much said we can safely say that football in South Africa in this day and age has became more lucrative as a man of the match award winner is greatly rewarded.
