Orlando Pirates would have been filled with joy when they heard that their favourite player Thembinkosi Lorch was back in training and ready to play again, this after spending a lengthy spell on the sidelines due to injury.
Lorch had not played for the Buccaneers in a serious competition this season, having only played in the Carling Black Label Cup back in August before sustaining an injury while he was at home, what was described as a Freak accident.
He would then go for surgery in September and just last week it was announced by the club that the Ghost would be seeing their star man back in action soon.
However, news now coming from the Buccaneers camp is that Lorch will not feature anytime this year and is set to miss the team's last six games of the year.
It is evident that the Buccaneers lack some zeal in attack without Lorch who has been spending a lot of time ok the sidelines with injuries, with only 50 appearances to his name in the last two years at Pirates.
The Management as much as the fans will be itching to see Lorch back on the pitch, considering that he is on a high salary at the club, he can't just be paid without playing due to an injury he sustained at home rather than on the field of play.
The Sea Robbers' last games of the year include a double fixture against AmaZulu, TS Galaxy, Swallows, Marumo Gallants and the league leaders Mamelodi Sundowns.
