Update: PSG 'optimistic' over Messi deal

Lionel Messi seems, by all accounts, to be nearly leaving Barcelona following the development of new reports on Friday evening.

Messi's agreement with LaLiga goliaths Barcelona is set to lapse toward the finish of the ebb and flow season and, accordingly, the Argentine forward's future has been the subject of extraordinary media hypothesis throughout the most recent couple of months.

The six-time Ballon d'Or victor has been connected with a large group of clubs, including Pep Guardiola-drove Manchester City and MLS side Inter Miami, however Ligue 1 monsters Paris Saint-Germain presently seem to have started to lead the pack in the race for his mark.

As indicated by TNT Sports columnist Marcelo Bechler, there is a feeling of "gigantic good faith" at PSG that the club will actually want to sign Messi, with one player purportedly depicting their mid-week UEFA Champions League conflict against him as "the last time as an opponent".

It is asserted that the Parisians have set finances to the side to encourage the arrangement and that the club trusts it has a substantially more appealing task than the Catalonians, the two of which will be utilized trying to convince the 33-year-old to move to France.
