Kaizer Chiefs Target Mamelodi Sundowns Star

Kaizer Chiefs are targeting Mamelodi Sundowns star.

Amakhosi have started looking for players to sign next season after they have been banned from signing players for the whole season.

The club have set their eyes on one of Sundowns players.

According to Kickoff magazine Chiefs are looking to re-sign Reyaad Pieterse from Sundowns however the biggest challenge is that the Brazilians are not looking to let go of the goalkeeper.

Pieterse has struggled for a game time at Sundowns as there are three goalkeepers who are preferred ahead or him.

That makes him the club's fourth-choice goalkeeper.

Pieterse only played a single game for Sundowns last season against Swallows FC where he kept a clean sheet.

Amakhosi are looking to bring the 29 year old back to naturena where he spent over three seasons during Stuart Baxter's first spell with the club.

"It's no secret Chiefs are willing to sign Pieterse but Sundowns still love him so much," revealed a source.

The source added that it is unlikely for the player to leave Sundowns ahead of next season because they still have an option on his contract.
