Mnguni popularly known as Bra Mzi had been battling with health problems since a heart attack in 2014, which left him in a wheelchair.
His health deteriorated further over the years and he was in and out of hospital.

He has survived a major accident which was suppose to have taken his life back in 2017 but lucky enough he managed to survived . It is said that the legend has produced over 10 best boxer champions. He trained them and made sure they succeed in following their dreams .

He will be remembered of his love and passion for the boxing . A close source has said that he died on the day when his family was burying his sister. At the moment it is not yet confirmed whether it’s the Covid 19 or it’s because he was old . His ins and outs of the hospital lately could have made a major impact to his life. He died at the age of 73.
