Shalulile Reacts to Player of the Month Award - I will go down into the History of SA Football

Mamelodi Sundowns striker Peter Shalulile has reacted to his Premier soccer League (PSL) player of the month award.

The PSL monthly Awards took place on Monday afternoon where Shalulile secured his second PSL player of the month award for the second time this season.

The Namibian International is also a leading goalscorer this season with only a single game left to play for his side this season.

Shalulile beat the likes of Cape Town City duo Craig Martin and Hugo Marques as well as Royal AM striker Victor Letsoalo to the award.

"To be honest, winning the DStv player of the month for April I would first like to give glory to God [because] he made it possible," he said.

The player also thanked his teammates and everyone at Sundowns.

He added that it is a great feeling and also overwhelming to receive the award because everyone at the club is working very hard.

He said he is happy to receive the award and has insisted that he is hoping for more.

The player also acknowledged his impressive performance in April where he scored back to back hat-tricks.

He insisted that he will go down into the history of South African football.
