To be honest with you guys I have watched Junior Khanye back in the day when Chiefs were still on top than now. Dribbling players and scoring a few goals as well. He was a fan favorite like the Scara Ngobese who performed amicably during their time with the Glamour boys. But I don’t really get his deal though, when Chiefs play well and win games, he is always complaining and criticizing them. Same as if they loose or draw he is always on their next case. Some legends of players try to smooth talk about their former teams wether they play well or not. But the way he try to take all the hard work the team put in to win the game, he doesn’t show any respect for both Chiefs, Gavin Hunt and the players as well. I’m not being a hater towards him but he isn’t too much. See what he said when Chiefs beat Sundowns:
” First of all, I don’t think the coach new what he was doing. Yes it’s true that we have to give credit where it’s due, they needed that win against Ka Bo Yellow. In fact any win is important to Chiefs. They went there looking for a draw. You can tell by how they approached the game, it tells you Hunt was very concerned. He was right to be concerned because Sundowns have many ball players especially in the middle-field position,” Junior tells KickOff.com Sources.
“He knew pound for pound he can’t compete with them. He came with a defensive system using Blom, who is a right back but the coach used him in the middle and it worked for him. Blom is not one of my favorite players in terms of comfortability on the ball, but the boy did very well against Sundowns, wether defensive or attacking, let’s avoid lying here there’s still a lot of work to be done by Blom,” concludes Khanye tells KickOff.com reporters.
” I was not surprised though, I’ve watched Blom and to me he is still a right-back, because class is permanent, and performance is temporary but he did a good job. The question is that will he continue to play like that consistently? But against Sundowns I give credit to him. But honestly Gavin was also surprised by the win,” concluded Khanye on KickOff.com
With all the way they played yesterday, yes Chiefs got away with one. It looks like The Yellow Nation we’re going to take all three points, but Amakhosi upset them giving them their first loss in league. But Junior Khanye sometimes is too much for real. Let me know what you think about his philosophy as an analyst.
