Done deal for the former captain Hlompho Kekana

After acquiring a bad treatment at Mamelodi Sundown, the former Mamelodi Sundown Hlompo Kekaka was shown the exit door by the management. However, the said he could come back at the club after a year but not as a player, maybe acting inside stuff role.

The midfielder had a great successive several seasons with Mamelodi Sundowns.He had 235 appearance with only 28 goals along all seasons.

On the 4th of March 2012, Sundowns set a remarkable record in the Nedbank Cup when they killed Powerlines FC 24-0, with Kekana scoring seven of the good goals.Hlompho was widely recognised as one of the great long range shooters around South Africa, notably netting against Samir Handanovic vs Will XI in 2019.

He played at Sundowns from 2015 till last season and he has been very much successful with his teammates. During the course of his journey with Sundowns, he was crowned a Captain because of his honesty and attitude.
