Onyango was facing more bad comments from the Mamelodi Sundowns fans after he failed to continue having clean sheets for the club which ended up ruining their massive record.
During the last two weeks, great Mamelodi Sundowns goalkeeper Onyango has gained attention for all the bad purposes after a trio of goalkeeping mistakes resulted to the club's undefeated start to the season nearing the end.
The 36-year-old was sent off in Saturday's triumph against Sekhukhune United after an exceptionally mistake display in a 2-2 derby draw with SuperSport United earlier this month.
Even so, the senior Ugandan's talent still comes through, as evidenced by his market worth, which places him as the third most valuable goalie in South Africa this season.
Onyango is rated at R13.5 million by Transfermarkt, putting him only below Orlando Pirates goalkeeper Richard Ofori, who is worth approximately R14.4 million in the overall standings.
The two are much behind SuperSport United captain Ronwen Williams, whose accomplishments at club level and reputation as Bafana Bafana's skipper and unquestioned starter have increased his value to an incredible R21.5 million.
Itumleneg Khune, meanwhile, is still in a good fourth place although dropping down the Kaizer Chiefs pecking order, where fifth-ranked Daniel Akpeyi has supplanted him as Amakhosi's No. 1.
George Chigova and Sifiso Mlungwana are tied for seventh place, with Veli Mothwa of AmaZulu and Oscarine Masuluke of Baroka rounding out the top ten.
Mamelodi Sundowns are still leading the league standings sitting with 30 points having a game in hand and they are leading Kaizer Chiefs who are currently in the second place sitting with 22 points with only a difference of eight points.
The Brazilians will be playing against Stellenbosch who were also coming in a good pace for the race of the league title, but they are currently at the fourth place.
