One point each for Tshakhuma and AmaZulu

Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila managed to collect yet another point with a 1 - 1 draw with AmaZulu in a DStv Premiership clash on Saturday evening at the Thohoyandou Stadium in Venda.

A match played at a rain soaked Thohoyandou Stadium, both teams found it difficult to keep the ball on the ground due to a slightly waterlogged pitch.

It was the home side that seemingly settled in first, with Luvuyo Memela drawing first blood for Usuthu, capitalizing on a Augustine Mulenga cross, 0 - 1 to AmaZulu.

The Durban side managed to keep the lead and go into the half time break leading in Thohoyandou.

Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila came out guns blazing in the second half and immediately made their intentions known early on and equalized through a terrific Rhulani Manzini free kick in the 58th minute, 1 - 1.

The leveler seemed to have given the home the confidence to go forward in search for more goals but AmaZulu keeper Velile Mothwa didn't want to have a debut defeat as he made fine saves to keep Joel Masutha's men at bay.
