Kaizer Chiefs star Khama Billiat has praised one of Amakhosi's new signings.
Amakhosi made a couple of new signings in the current transfer window as the club look to be competitive this season.
Some of the club's new additions managed to make their debuts on Saturday on a game against Royal AM.
Amakhosi however lost the game by 1-0 after the club conceded an early goal that decided the outcome of the game.
Speaking after the game Billiat believe that the club will challenge for silverware this season despite suffering a loss in their opener game of the season.
The Zimbabwean born player also had some praises for the club's new signings including Du Preez who joined the club from Stellenbosch FC.
Billiat described the player as a marquee signing for Amakhosi and he believes that the player is a quality player.
"He’s [Du Preez] got speed, a very good touch, and he knows how to make himself free," Billiat told the media.
He added that it is a blessing to play with a player like Du Preez.
In addition Billiat said they are happy to have the player at Amakhosi and has insisted that they are looking forward to have a good season with him.
Du Preez will be looking to make his second appearance in the colours of Amakhosi in the club's next game.
The player is likely to start again after he had a good debut on Saturday and he is not facing a tough competition on his position.
Amakhosi will host Maritzburg United on their next game on Tuesday at FNB Stadium.
The club will be in search of the first win of the season after losing their opener.
