Gavin Hunt has provided an update on their squad ahead of their next feature, with Itumeleng Khine granted an extended leave to attend to his personal matters.
According to sources the Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper will not be part of the squad when they face Maritzburg United in the next coming few days in the DSTV Premiership.
Amakhosi are scheduled to face Maritzburg United on Wednesday at 18:00pm on an away clash. It has now been two weeks since Amakhosi played in the domestic fixture, having to focus mainly on the CAF Champions League matches.
Gavin Hunt has since indicated that Khune has been given an extended leave to focus on his personal matters. Hunt has also raised hopes that Samir Nurkovic or Leonardo Castro may return for their next league clash. Hunt has also indicated that Captain Ramahlwe Mphahlele will be joining the squad as he was out suspended in the CAF Champions.
After missing out on some of his key players in their clash against Petro De Luanda, Hunt has indicated that Khune won't feature on Wednesday. Khune is currently out attending to a family bereavement after the tragic passing of his sister, Mapula Meikie Khune.
